UC Berkeley
The University of California was chartered in 1868 and its flagship campus — envisioned as a "City of Learning" — was established at Berkeley, on San Francisco Bay. Today the world's premier public university and a wellspring of innovation, UC Berkeley occupies a 1,232 acre campus with a sylvan 178-acre central core. From this home its academic community makes key contributions to the economic and social well-being of the Bay Area, California, and the nation.
Levine-Fricke Field
Levine-Fricke Field, home of the 2002 NCAA champions, is the venue for Golden Bear softball on the University of California campus. Nestled at the base of Strawberry Canyon, the field sits high above the Berkeley campus overlooking the San Francisco Bay Area. Built in 1995, Levine-Fricke Field owns a seating capacity of 500, with all of the seats in close proximity to the field. The outfield fences stand 190 feet down the right and left field lines, while it is 220 feet to straight-away center. Cal softball began play in 1972 on Hearst Field in the center of campus. The Bears moved to Strawberry Field, just west of their current location, in the early 1980s and remained there until Levine-Fricke Field was constructed.
Maxwell Family Field
Located just north of Memorial Stadium
Underhill Field

Thank you to UC Berkeley!
August 12, 2019: The camp was an awesome experience for the young ladies who participated. Patricia enjoyed the opportunity to actually interact with the college players she has been watching on television. It was a humbling experience for her to have the opportunity to play on the same court with them. From my perspective she was more perceptive to the advice offered to her. She especially enjoyed the incorporation of the team dancing competition. Thank you to the UC Berkeley coaches and staff for this magnificent opportunity.

Experienced Coaches!
August 4, 2019: Our daughter appreciated the level of competition of the participants and the experienced coaches. She also really enjoyed team building activities.

Very Impressed
June 28, 2019: It's a fun yet serious camp on teaching basketball skills. Emmi said the training is more rigorous than the basketball class she used to take. Being coached by Cal basketball team players and playing at the Haas Pavilion is a valuable experience. Also, the coaches are so approachable and friendly even they are on the Cal basketball team. I, as a parent, was very impressed by them!

Patient Coaches
June 10, 2019: We arrived and after a few minutes of standing around we were approached and guided to registration. It was no time before she was handed a shirt and badge name. Several moments throughout the camp I notice how patient they all were with her, who has never played organized ball. She has been practicing all year with a trainer but even with the training she has it was clear there\u2019s so much more for here to learn. This camp will be a big help toward her basketball future.
