Levine-Fricke Field at Cal Softball Camps
Come join the fun and receive top-notch instruction with Cal Softball Fall/ Winter Clinics. This is an amazing opportunity to work with a prestigious softball program and refine your skills, all while having a great time and making new friends!
Age Requirements: Please note that age restrictions are firmly based on the date of birth and graduation year. The Cal coaching staff reserves the right and will excuse any player without refund if their age has been misrepresented. Safety is of the utmost concern during this camp.
Instruction will focus primarily on hitting, fielding, base-running, and game situations. You can expect high demand for these first come first serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.

2024 CAMP INFORMATION
ALL-SKILLS CAMP
- Dates: January 28, 2024
- Age Group: 8-18
- Session 1: Offense Clinic, 9:00am-11:00am
- Session 2: Defense Clinic, 11:15am-1:15pm
- Session 3: Pitching & Catching Clinic, 1:45pm-3:45pm
- Check-In: Begins 15 minutes prior to camp start time.
- Meals: No meals included. Please bring snacks/lunch to camp each day.
Please note: Ability to purchase individual sessions or all three sessions together.
ELITE CAMP
- Dates: February 3-4, 2024
- Age Group: 13-18
- Camp Type: Day
- Schedule: Saturday-Sunday, 9:00am-4:00pm
- Check-In: Beings 15 minutes prior to camp start time
- Meals: No meals included. Please bring snacks/lunch to camp each day.

Head Coach - Softball Chelsea Spencer
Chelsea Spencer, who won an NCAA title during an All-American career at Cal before embarking on a coaching career, agreed to become the next softball head coach for the Golden Bears on May 20, 2020.

Brandon Telesco joins the California softball staff for his first season as the hitting coach and recruiting coordinator in 2024.

Pitching Coach Danielle O'Toole-Trejo
O'Toole-Trejo spent the last three seasons as the pitching coach at Cal State Fullerton, where she led the staff to a 1.87 team ERA in 366.2 innings pitched in 2023. The Titans' 98 earned runs allowed as a team were 12th in the NCAA last season.

Assistant Coach Kailee Cuico
Cuico spent the last three seasons as Cal's volunteer assistant after coaching with Spencer at both Texas (2019-20) and Oregon (2015-18).

Director Of Player Development Marisa Stankiewicz
Stankiewicz spent the 2023 season as assistant coach at Park University Gilbert, helping guide the Buccaneers to a 36-14 campaign and 22-6 record in California Pacific Conference play as the staff earned the ATEC/NFCA NAIA National Coaching Staff of the Year Award.

- Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours

INSTRUCTION & FACILITY
- Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio
- Groupings: Campers are initially grouped by age and moved around accordingly based on skill level.
- Facility: Outdoor Fields. Indoor facilities are available during inclement weather conditions.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
TRAVEL
Nike Softball Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.

All Cal Sports Camps are open to any and all entrants. For your safety and benefit, we recommend you choose a camp that fits your level of development. All events are subject to change based on NCAA and Covid-19 restrictions. Due to high demand and limited capacity, prices are subject to increase as camp exceeds 25%/50%/75% capacity.
