You can expect a high demand on these first-come-first-serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.
Camp will be held on the beautiful UC Berkeley campus, located on the eastern side of the San Francisco Bay with the central campus resting on 178 acres in Berkeley, California. This summer, Cal is offering two sessions of Day Camp (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM). There will be one sessions for each age group: Youth Complete Skills camp (Ages 9-13) on June 8-10; High School Advanced Skills camp (Ages 14-18 - rising 9th graders and up) from June 15-18.
This camp is open to any and all entrants. For your safety and benefit, we recommend you choose a camp that fits your particular skills and level of development.

Jakov Belamaric completed his first season as a Cal assistant coach in 2022, a national championship-winning season which saw the Golden Bears post their highest win percentage (.920) in 30 years.

After spending the last two years as an assistant coach for the Pacific men’s and women’s water polo programs, Sefa returns to his alma mater where he joins his former head coach Kirk Everist as the newest member of the three-time defending champs’ coaching staff.

Our goal is to engage and inspire each player at camp and to instill positive character traits such as confidence, self-motivation, and a passion for the sport.
ADVANCED SKILLS CAMP
Designed for high school players (Ages 14-18). This program focuses on advanced skills, position specific training for divers, shooters, goalies and 2 meter offense & defense, team concepts and an overall intense level of competition. Campers also have the opportunity to compete daily in games against each other. For graduation years 2029, 2028, 2027, & 2026s.
SKILLS CAMP
Designed for youth and incoming high school players (Ages 9-13). This program is designed to provide youth players with the fundamentals, latest drills, in-water scrimmages and position specific training (Divers, Shooters, Goalies and 2 Meter Offense & Defense) essential for improvement.
CAMP INFO
A detailed camper registration packet containing check-in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers prior to camp. Our health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and they will be collected on the first day of camp.
Youth Skills Camp: Session I (June 8-10)
- Check-in between 8:30-9:00am at Legends Aquatic Center.
- Check-out will be at 3:00pm at the pool each day.
HS Advanced Skills Camp: Session I (June 15-18)
- Check-in between 8:30-9:00am at Legends Aquatic Center.
- Check-out will be at 3:00pm at the pool each day.
Instruction will emphasize:
- Shooting, drive defense, defending center, pressure passing, and other important skill sets.
- Goal Setting sessions

TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION
Due to University and NCAA Policies, we are not allowed to offer any transportation to and from camps. The airport closest to the Berkeley campus is Oakland International The camp is not allowed to offer any transportation to and from camps. The airport closest to the Berkeley campus is Oakland International Airport; San Francisco International Airport is also within a reasonable distance. Campers are responsible for their own transportation to and from camp.
Join Cal Water Polo Head Coach, Kirk Everist, this summer at the Cal Boys Water Polo Camp! Campers will train with the Cal Water Polo coaching staff at the state-of-the-art Legends Aquatics Center. This summer, we are offering one session of high school training and one session of youth training.
All Cal Sports Camps are open to any and all entrants. For your safety and benefit, we recommend you choose a camp that fits your level of development. All events are subject to change based on NCAA restrictions. Due to high demand and limited capacity, prices are subject to increase as camp exceeds 25%/50%/75% capacity.
